My Anthrocon 2014 Con Report and Pictures

This year's Anthrocon was held in Pittsburgh, PA from July 3rd to 6th. The guests of honor were Lee Tockar and Jim Cummings. We had a total attendance of 5,861 and raised $32,372 for the National Aviary.

First, this is what 1,326 fursuiters look like:

As the convention's Operations Director, I was busy the same as I was every year, but had some downtime between major commitments and was able to take some pictures as shown above.

Overall, the convention went pretty well. We saw even more engagement than ever from the City of Pittsburgh. We won the Gertie Award from the Toonseum, and the Mayor of Pittsburgh declard July 5th, 2014 as "Anthrocon Day". We also received a surprise visit from the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and their mascot, a giant library card. They thought that the mascot might fit in with us. They thought right. Smiling

I've got many more pictures, but I won't bore y'all with them. They can be found on Facebook and Flickr:

My next convention will be BronyCon, held in Baltimore from August 1st to 3rd, 2014. I know not everyone is a brony, but for those of you who are, I'll see you there.
