On May 7th, 2006, it was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and I spent the afternoon taking photographs of the current state of the Adam's Mark hotel.

Looking up at the hotel was a really awesome site in real life. I tried my best to convey it in this picture.
The empty windows look kinda like a grid from a video game.
Yep. Daylight is shining through the windows. They have completely gutted the rooms at this point.
They had scaffolding in front of the hotel on monument road. Unfortunately, there was cloth to the left, so I could not get any good pictures of where the pool area used to be.
Actually, there isn't much left of the parking garage. It was completely demolished and flattened out.
If you look in the center, you can see that the elevator shafts are still present. I would guess that they provide support for much of the building and destroying them would cause the building to collapse.
